Welcome to Selgeks. By using this website or the Selgeks app, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they’re short.

Using the service

Selgeks is an educational tool for learning Estonian. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial learning. Please don’t misuse it — for example by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or access it in violation of any law.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.

Educational content & the exam

We work hard to verify our Estonian content against authoritative sources, but no learning tool is perfect and language evolves. Selgeks is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official provider of the Estonian state language exam (tasemeeksam), the Integration Foundation, Harno or any government or examination body, and we cannot guarantee any particular exam result. References to the state exam and to third-party resources (for example Sõnaveeb / EKI and TartuNLP) are used only to describe what we teach and to credit our sources — they do not imply any endorsement, affiliation or partnership. Always confirm current exam details, dates and rules with the official Estonian authorities.

Intellectual property

The Selgeks name, content, design and software are owned by Wugge OÜ or its licensors and are protected by law. The Estonian language itself, of course, belongs to everyone.

Service availability

We provide Selgeks on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may update, change or discontinue features. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll update the “last updated” date above, and continued use of Selgeks means you accept the revised terms.
